Les Tilleuls
Luxury villa
Beautiful Maison de Maitre in West France,
between La Rochelle, Nantes and Poitiers.
Eight bedrooms - sleeps 15 to 23.
Heated floodlit pool.

Les Tilleuls is set in the Southern Vendee, which thanks to its microclimate is the second sunniest region of France, with temperatures reaching the high 30s in July and August.

The house is a charming maison de maitre, with a beautiful private garden covering two acres. Situated in the small village of Puy de Serre, with its 12th Century church, it is the perfect location for a peaceful, relaxing holiday.

The closest restaurant, boulangerie and general store is within 2 kilometres. The surrounding region is of gently rolling countryside, beautiful lakes and the forested areas along with scatterings of picturesque villages, such as the medieval village of Vouvant (11km) recently voted one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Within close distance are lakeside beaches, a sailing school, fishing and horse riding. There are many golf courses in the surrounding area, the closest being Golf du Petit Chene, an 18 hole course at Mazieres-en-Gatine, just 20 miles away. Many of the nearby villages have their own summer fetes and market days, along with excellent restaurants.
